This major is fully online and provides relevant content and practical application to today’s careers. With an accelerated 7-week format, this degree is flexible for full-time working adults. Students pursuing a degree in healthcare administration will apply foundational management skills such as productivity management, workflow, resource planning, operations and leadership. Students will gain an awareness of the potential benefits of building positive relationships with various healthcare providers and how partnerships can be formed to enhance patient outcomes. Experienced professors in this degree path offer a faith component to the healthcare administration curriculum.
Charleston Southern University has many opportunities for anyone who prefers or needs to complete their education away from a traditional campus setting through their online program. The offering of online programs has the flexibility to fit any person’s need for educational success. Completion of my Bachelor of Science in organizational management with a healthcare emphasis, while working a full-time job, was no longer a dream but a reality. I was able to take a full course load each semester, due to their unique 7-week course format. I was very unsure of an online education; however, the staff and instructors at CSU made the transition to online learning simple. The instructors were helpful and expertly knowledgeable in their respective courses. The knowledge I gained from this educational program allowed me to utilize new training and teaching techniques, as well as pass this knowledge on to my healthcare students.
